We had an enjoyable time celelbrating Christmas starting off with an early Christmas meal at Oddfellows. Delicious food and a good time was had by those from church and also some folk who join us each week at our Wellbeing cafe. Thank you to all  at Oddfellows for cooking us a splendid Christmas lunch and making us feel very festive and welcome.

We had a very fun and enjoyable time with some of the residents and staff at Hillside Lodge who attended the Carol service we had. Everyone was in good voice and we ended the service with a karioke from one of the residents. A really joyful time.

At the wellbeing cafe we packed boxes with donations from church members to provided hampers for some of the famiies at St Marys primary school. Thank you to all those who donated and for those who helped pack.

Our Christmas celebrations culminated with a Carols by candle light service with a fun element of finding the sprout and instead of a donkey carrying Mary into the Nativity scene one of our members who had always wanted to play Mary entered on her mobility scooter. We had several families attend with the children all going home with party bags and lots of chocolate.
