We had over 40 children with their families join us last Saturday for our Messy Church banquet. A very enjoyable afternoon was had with lots of activities on offer, musical chairs, party hats to make, cakes to decorate and a banner depicting a banquet. Judith showed a video and talked about the banquet that Jesus invites us all to join. We sang and danced in celebration. The families then enjoyed a banquet laid out with all sorts of delicious food, some of which was donated by Tesco. Chicken legs, sausages, baked potatoes to name a few, all followed by jelly and squirty cream. I think we would all say it was a great success and we hope that many families come again to join us next month when we are having an early Easter egg hunt.
